NUST Entry Test · Engineering Track
National University of Sciences & Technology — NET

Prepare for the NUST Entry Test the way it's actually scored.

441 advanced practice questions — every one with a worked solution — covering all five NET papers (Mathematics, Physics, English, Biology, Chemistry and Design Aptitude). This bank is deliberately hard: it is dominated by A-Level material (with only a minority of tough O-Level) — calculus, binomial theorem, trigonometric equations, vectors and complex numbers; projectiles, moments, circular motion and EMF; titrations, empirical formulae, oxidation states and electrolysis; dihybrid genetics and biochemistry; graduate-level vocabulary, inference and critical reasoning. Every quantitative answer is computed in code, so it is always correct. Practice by topic or sit a timed, weighted mock test for your stream (no negative marking, full solution review). Pick your paper under the NET Streams tab.

Practice by topic

Work chapter by chapter — pick a subject and a topic, answer at your own pace, and see the worked solution the moment you lock in an answer. Other NET papers have their own topics under NET Streams.

Full mock test

A timed, weighted mock with no negative marking and a complete solution review. Engineering runs 200 MCQs / 3 hours; each other stream has its own mock under NET Streams.

About NUST

The National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), established in March 1991 and headquartered at its purpose-built campus in Sector H-12, Islamabad, is Pakistan's premier science and technology university. Over three decades it has grown into a comprehensive, multi-campus institution whose constituent schools and colleges span engineering, computing, natural sciences, medicine, business, social sciences, and art & architecture — and it consistently sits at or near the top among Pakistani universities in international rankings.

What sets NUST apart is its next-generation outlook: a strong emphasis on research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, close industry–academia linkages, and an ecosystem that includes technology incubation and Pakistan's first National Science & Technology Park. For ambitious students, a NUST degree pairs rigorous academics with real pathways into research, startups, and industry — which is exactly why its entry test is among the most competitive in the country.

Admission to almost all undergraduate programmes is through the NUST Entry Test (NET), conducted in multiple series each cycle — computer-based at Islamabad (and selected regional sittings) and paper-based at regional centres. You may attempt more than one series; your best score counts. The tentative schedule for the upcoming cycle is below. Always confirm final dates on the official NUST admissions portal, and read more about the university at nust.edu.pk.

Grow the Question Bank

Import your own verified questions

The built-in bank already holds 5000+ advanced questions, weighted heavily toward A-Level difficulty. The quantitative subjects (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) carry most of the volume because their hard questions are computed live and always correct; the curated English, Biology and Design sets are smaller but pitched at the same A-Level standard. To add more of your own verified hard material — for example your school's A-Level past papers — import a JSON or CSV file. Imported questions are saved in this browser and flow straight into Practice and Mock tests.

This is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NUST. Question bank is original practice content mapped to the published NET syllabus (FSc/HSSC Part I & II) — always cross-check the official syllabus at ugadmissions.nust.edu.pk.

Background: HSSC Pre-Engineering / Pre-Medical* / ICS / equivalent.
For: all Engineering or Computing programmes. Such candidates can also opt for BS Bioinformatics, BS Mathematics, BS Physics, BS Chemistry and BS Food Science & Technology without an additional registration fee or a separate NET.
Candidates with Pre-Engineering + Additional Biology, or Pre-Medical + Additional Mathematics (or equivalent), applying for Engineering or Computing programmes appear in the NET-Engineering paper. Candidates with HSSC/equivalent having Mathematics as a major subject applying for Computing programmes also appear in NET-Engineering.
* Pre-Medical candidates: applying for Engineering programmes without the additional maths exam, you appear in NET-Engineering — but must clear NUST's condensed 8-week Mathematics course before admission (register at connected.nust.edu.pk). Applying for Computing programmes without additional maths, you also appear in the NET-Engineering paper.
