NET-Architecture is the paper for B Architecture and B Industrial Design applicants, taken by candidates with HSSC including Mathematics and Physics (or equivalent). It is weighted Design Aptitude 50%, Mathematics 30% and English 20%, with no negative marking.
The Design Aptitude component is what makes this paper different from every other NET stream. The practice items here cover its underlying theory — colour, proportion, perspective and spatial reasoning — and should be paired with regular hand-sketching practice. The Mathematics questions are pitched at A-Level standard and computed in code, so every worked solution is exact; English items focus on vocabulary, inference and critical reasoning. Practise topic by topic or sit a timed mock built to the real 50/30/20 weighting.
